Provides virtual tour of library facilities in this time of pandemic for
those who cannot visit the library due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Conducts online computer basic tutorial to teach or enhance participant’s skills in basic computer
troubleshooting, how to use basic apps and presentation, creating an email account, and browsing the Internet.
Helps organize school libraries, barangay reading centers, and other
institutions that want to establish a small library within their community. QCPL provides support
with book donations to augment their collections, as well as basic training and
sharing practices on how to manage small library for their library staff.
Conducts bookmobile activities, such as Pinoy-reading buddies, storytelling,
puppet shows, and film showing to promote reading in collaboration with schools.
Selected pupils from the public schools are invited for the virtual bookmobile
with services like storytelling and video showing.
Conducts online storytelling activities to promote reading and learning
especially to children through the QCPL FB page.
Provides book donations from donors to requesting organizations and libraries
to augment their book collections and other reading materials.
Distributes children’s books and other reading materials in the
community using the Cart (kariton).
Sets up community pantries in district libraries with free children’s
books and other reading materials, along with free vegetables, eggs,
rice and other canned goods.
