Branch Libraries are the extension arm of the QCPL in providing library services in the communities/barangay of Quezon City. It replicates the library services provided at the Main Library. Most of the branch libraries are located within the barangay hall premises. Books, equipment and other library materials are provided by the QCPL including library staff. Other barangays that have branch library in their jurisdiction usually assigns barangay staff if there are available to assist the QCPL staff in the operations of the branch library. These barangay staff are trained by the QCPL in basic library operations for them to be capable in handling the library.
